The Jaguar Track Club primary focus is the development of young athletes in the educational field as well as in the athletic field.  We stress the importance of education with the utmost focus in school work first, and then in athletics.

SUMMER PRACTICE AND REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN ON 5/14/2012 FROM 6:00 PM TO 8:00 PM AT CEDAR GROVE HIGH SCHOOL TRACK FACILITY.  REGULAR PRACTICE WILL BE ON MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS AND THURSDAYS EACH WEEK.

CEDAR GROVE PERFORMED COMPETITIVELY AT STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Cedar Grove High School Girls performed with awesome strenght at the GHSA championship in Albany, Georgia May 3 - 5, 2012.  Under the leadership of our own Coach Curtis Jackson and Coach Smith the running coaches and Coach Tony Hawkins the field coach the team handled the competition in Albany and represented well.  The team was lead individually by Kayla Pryor burning up the track with a personal best of 2:14.60 in the 800M giving her second place and running 44.45 in the 300M Hurdles earning her a 3rd place medal.  Both were personal best for her to build on for her senior year at Cedar Grove for 2013.  Our field athletes contributed significantly to the success of the team by performing well in their events.  Angel Davis threw the shot put for 39.03 feet giving her 4th in the event and continued her success in the Discus by throwing 109.10 feet also giving her a 4th place finish.  Amber Townsend stepped up in the triple jump by jumping 36.08.50 giving her 6th place in the event. Kayla Pryor was joined in the 4x4 finally of the day by Christian Pryor, Latoya Harze, and Nina Singleton to run a competitive time of 3:56.03 giving them 4th in the meet.  We wish all of our athletes continued success in school and track and field.
